In the run-up to, and after it was invaded, Ukraine has faced a large-scale assault not just by land, sea and air, but by cyberspace as well.

Just this week, DDOS attacks downed government websites, and “wiper” malware erased important financial data. This has led major companies and governments to put their cyberdefences on high alert, for fear of an international escalation.
